I’ve won, I’ve won!

Vicki Warner launched her Birthday Giftback Project on August 2nd, 2017 with the motive of finding ‘a simple way that people from anywhere in the world can have fun and hope, while at the same time contributing to others'.

At first Vicki's project required a donation of $1 per month by all members, but currently membership is free and donations are voluntary. After a random quarterly draw a lucky winner receives $50. At the same time 10% of all dollars received goes to Ronald Mcdonald House Charities .

Three months later, after Sandy was announced lucky winner of the first draw, Vicki changed the quarterly draw to a monthly draw.

I was just announced lucky winner for a second time!

For the second time since I was ten years old, when I received a necklace as a consolation prize at a coloring contest, I could shout, “I’ve won, I’ve won!”

My sincere thanks to Vicki and also to her team players, Angelia Phillips (of FlashPress) and Maria Jordan of Marcoujor's Musings.

I hereby invite all my readers to become members of Vicki’s project HERE.

Cyril Ramaphosa - South Africa's new president

Down here in South Africa a seasoned politician called Cyril Ramaphosa also shouted, “I’ve won, I’ve won!”

After endless efforts during the past nine years to get rid of the treacherous and deplorable Jacob Zuma, Cyril Ramaphosa was elected president of South Africa's leading political party , the ANC, on December 2017. Less than two months later, on February 15th, 2018 - after Zuma was forced to resign - Cyril Ramaphosa became South Africa's president.

This was the miracle we have been praying for!

For many years Cyril proved himself as a wise and successful businessman and politician. May his best qualities become even better, and his bad qualities less and never at the expense of South Africa and her people.

Until next time
