I feel so sorry for these stubborn racists. How do they live with so much hatred in their soul? They are missing out on so much peace and joy and the wonderful feeling of freedom aroused by truly “loving thy neighbour as thyself.”
And they don’t even know exactly what they are missing, for people don’t know what they have missed until they find it, or lose it. Racists are indeed beyond redemption.
Please racists, if I irritate you in and out of your narrow mind, you are welcome to unfriend me. I give you this scripture as a farewell note with the hope that you will be blessed with the insight you need to understand that you, yourself and yours and all that is breathing and not breathing in the universe have not created by you or any of your ancestors, but by a Power we call God far beyond the comprehension of the human mind.
Matthew 6:12 “And (please God) forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”
To my black friends: Thank you for being my friend in spite of the wrong-doings of my fellow-whites. Please try to forgive them, because they are like the Israelites who had wanted Jesus, instead of Barabbas, to die, in accordance with Roman customs, the most horrible death on a cross. Study the history of the Jews and see how the tables never stop turning. “Those who were at the bottom will eventually be at the top... and eventually be at the bottom again.” (Also said by Nelson Mandela.) This is life, and our life on Earth is too short to burden ourselves with hate and grudges.
To ALL my friends: Have a happy Christmas and prosperous New Year! Carpe diem! Make the best of each and every day!
